When working on electronic components, users face the risk of irreparable damage caused by electrostatic discharge. With the TorqueVario®-S ESD torque screwdriver set, such issues become a thing of the past. Manufactured in accordance with the international standard IEC 61340-5-1, the ESD torque screwdriver offers maximum protection for electronic components. The dissipative tool handle features a surface resistance of 10⁶–10⁹ ohms, safely dissipating electrostatic energy in a controlled manner. The torque screwdriver also ensures controlled screw tightening. Thanks to its integrated numerical scale and the included setting tool, variable torque settings can be adjusted, covering a wide range of applications. Upon reaching the set torque value, a clearly audible and tactile signal is triggered, guaranteeing process-reliable operation, protecting materials, and eliminating extra work. With a triggering accuracy of +/- 6%, the torque tool complies with EN ISO 6789 requirements. The set includes a bit holder for 1/4″ bits. All tools in the set are safely stored in a robust and neatly organized metal box, including the manufacturer’s inspection report.
